De behandelingen die u bij het Artrose Instituut Nederland krijgt, zijn gebaseerd op jarenlange ervaring van de bij ons werkende specialistische zorgverleners en op vele wetenschappelijke studies. Deze studies tonen aan dat de niet-operatieve behandeling van artrose zich moet richten op alle persoonlijke omstandigheden die uw artroseklachten bepalen.

Deze oorzaken moeten tegelijkertijd behandeld worden om tot een goed en duurzaam resultaat te kunnen komen. In het huidige zorgstelsel in Nederland, maar ook in de rest van de wereld, is de behandeling van artrose te veel versnipperd. Er is geen centrale regie en algemene adviezen als ‘u zou meer moeten bewegen’ of ‘u zou iets aan uw gewicht moeten doen’ zijn vaak te algemeen en al helemaal niet aangepast aan uw specifieke situatie.
